Some of you may know I entered a photo of one of my 2018 couples, Alexa and Joe, into Down East Magazine’s Annual Reader Photo Contest. It’s currently trending #1 for the Lifestyle category, and #7 overall, thanks to all the love it’s gotten from you all! Could you help it stay in that spot (or move up)? All you have to do is VOTE (if you haven’t yet, or try again, because sometimes you get to vote twice!), and SHARE it with your friends so they can vote, too! I’ll love you all forever if you do! (And who am I kidding? I’ll love you forever anyway…but VOTE still!) Here’s the link: VOTE HERE!
With wedding season in full swing, I don’t have a lot of opportunity to do Lifestyle Sessions these days. What’s a “Lifestyle Session,” you ask? It’s an hour long portrait session where I capture life as it happens, whether it’s with a couple, a family, or an adorable toddler like Sophia.
Sophia’s gram, Jan, emailed me last week to see if I might be able to squeeze in a Lifestyle Session because her granddaughter, Sophia, and daughter-in-law, Asia, were visiting them at their camp from Washington, D.C.
I’m so glad I found a way! Sophia was an adorable little ham for the camera, and though it was pouring when I first arrived, the sun was out within minutes, and we were able to move outside with her and her gorgeous and beyond sweet mom, Asia.
I LOVE photographing kids! And Asia and I got to chat about my move ten years ago from the D.C. area to rural Maine while I worked which was an added bonus. Thank you so much, Jan and family, for choosing me to capture your very special granddaughter!
