Friday, I shot a sunset family session with my friend Gisel and her beautiful family on the path overlooking the “Great Falls” of the Androscoggin River. The falls weren’t particularly great that day as the dam wasn’t engaged, but the view was still beautiful: the wide Androscoggin quietly flowing under scenic train and traffic bridges with a cobblestone path unrolling beside it. Gisel and Ryan were celebrating their anniversary the next day, with a huge party planned at the house they were working to remodel themselves, and she wanted to commemorate the occasion with some pictures of their family.
I loved the evening we spent together: the kids were adorable, and Gisel is one of those people it’s impossible not to feel comfortable with: joyful and inquisitive, and Ryan was a great sport with everything we asked of him during the shoot. Their session was an easy edit: the light and their gorgeousness did most of the work. Thanks guys, for letting me capture your family!
